In other news, EECS 470 is going to fucking kick my ass this term. According to the professor, we should expect to spend an average of 20 hours a week on the class - and that's averaged over the whole term, when the majority of the work comes at the end. Wheee. |

you still in 494 too? i just filled out that damned override thing for the class.
how are you getting so many invites? ::sigh::
I have no clue! I managed to get rid of three, and this morning I found that they'd given me four more! Admittedly, this is between my two GMail accounts, and 6 is probably the max for each...
I'm still open for one. I didn't actually get an e-mail from you the first time.
That's... kinda weird. I sent it last Friday... I'll try forwarding it again. Make sure your Hotmail acct. has space...
I have a bunch of gmail invites too...so if anyone needs them, they can email me at kreely at kreely.com in case you run out.
*cries* Now I have 18 Gmail invites and nothing to do with them. I'd been whittling the total down, too...so yeah, if you run out, send people over to my journal! Please?
I've found that the number of hours a professor expects students to spend on work is approximately double what I actually do spend, and yet I haven't had a problem. Sometimes it's 4x what I actually spend on the class. In short, that's probably just there to scare you (or scare other, less hardy people into dropping the class); you're smart, and the workload probably won't really be that bad. Breathe. :D
Heh. We'll see. The prof said that the project should take around 100 hours, spread over 7 weeks. (but averaged over 14) That's the part I'm worried about. Cause that's *still* an assload of work.
Man. I've had my account for over a month, and I have yet to receive a single invite at all.
Very, very strange. I suppose you've actually been using it, too?
If you know anyone who wants an invite, send them my way...
You don't have anything at the top of your Gmail inbox that says "You have ___ Gmail invitations, Invite a friend to Gmail"? I just got mine like last week and I automatically had six.
I know you don't know me, but invite away!
