I got a package in the mail today. It was a little box with a Google sticker over the seal - that was the only indication of its origin. I opened it up, and it contained two things.

One was a note saying "We're sorry we can't accept you for an internship this year, we had 2000 applicants for 75 positions, etc etc. Please accept this gift of appreciation for considering Google."

The other thing was a little Nalgene water bottle with the Google logo on it.

Awesome. I really do like the way this company works.
