|||||Elton John - The Greatest Discovery (in my head)||]|
Thank you all so much for your support last week - it is very much appreciated.
These days, I'm just trying to keep my head above water with schoolwork - I can't even think about Scatterplot right now, and for that I apologize to all of you that read it. (take that "read" in the past or present tense, as you feel is appropriate.)
Shelly and I are going to Katsucon this weekend - hope to see some of you there! Let me know if you'll be there, and we could try to meet up or something.
We have other good news, but that can wait until I'm not so tired/busy.
isn't that in baltimore o r something? will you be passing through near me by any chance??
*hugs* to you both. i love you both! I can' wait to hear your good news :)
Katsucon is in Arlington...
so, are tyou going to pass through my area?
Does this good news have anything to do with you working on Scatterplot again?
I had a chance to go to Genericon this past year, but i had already made other plans and getting out to where my best friend lives, Albany, would not be an easy enterprise.
She did tell me bits about the comic jams and question and answer sessions; she didn't know you, but luckily you were still quite noticable with your top hat and large spoon. =-)
I have to go next year, I think it would be great to meet all you guys. That, and I'd make Nick P. jealous that I'd met you first. ;-)
And no one told me genericon had Legowars!! I'm sooooo jealous now!
And that pic is from the Peter Pan movie that came out, isn't it? I really want to see that before it leaves the theaters....I'm going to try to this saturday coming up, hopefully it will still be there!
It's actually from Lost in Translation, which is just awesome....
Yay Katsucon! Chris gets a break :)
Not so yay Chris having to stay up all night - for everyone who can't tell, he had a stressful night and didn't get much sleep... like 2 hours. That will be fixed tonight, though, even if I have to drug him... *evil look*
Oooh! Is it about moving Scatterplot to another server? *is a pest, and in particular a pest who's made sad by broken comic images*
Seriously, though...your readership will understand if you're stuck in real-life mode for a while, and your education has to come first -- nothing's worth sacrificing that, especially if you have not only college but grad school at stake.
...which is why I'm presently avoiding my own research by hanging out on Livejournal...yeah. :Þ
