Adventures with the counter biscuit...

Alice and I were picking up food at McDonald's the other day...

After questioning him about the "new" McNuggets, we decided to enquire about the fries.

Me: "Do your fries still have beef in them?"

Guy: "Huh?"

Me: "Your fries. They used to have meat seasoning in them."

Guy: "Oh, no, man, we just use salt here."

At this point, Alice and I cracked up. It was just part of the most surreal McDonald's visit I've had, compounded by someone leaving the line and the orders getting swapped, and our several minutes of questioning the drive-thru guy. Heh heh.
