I was a little concerned that the events that occurred off-screen in panel 4 were perhaps unclear - did anybody have problems with that?
In other events... this morning was rather odd. I think my dreams are screwing with my reality a little, though I'm not sure how. I woke up incredibly disoriented, and started worrying because I wasn't hearing the alarm. I looked at the clock, and it read 8:03, which is the time the alarm is set to, but the alarm just wasn't going. Further, the little light that indicates whether alarm is set was on. So I actually didn't believe the clock. My computer was off - I had gone to bed after it crashed last night - and so I stumbled about the room, seeking another timepiece, until I found one of my elastic-band watches on the shelf, which confirmed that 8:03 was the correct time. I went and set my alarm for a few minutes later and tried to turn it on again, and went back to bed. The alarm worked this time.
A little while after waking up, I figured out what had gone on. My alarm had been set to radio, not to alarm-tone. However, on the setting that I prefer my alarm, the radio is quiet enough not to be heard unless you're listening for it. The alarm does, however, make an audible "click" before turning the radio on - I suspect that that's what woke me up.
It was still very bizarre, though, and not the sort of thing I'm accustomed to dealing with first thing in the morning.
Mmmm, weekend. Soon....
