Who needs a house out in Hackensack?

So, the packing people are doing a whirlwind job packing up the apartment. They showed up at 8:05 this morning (actually beating my dad's wakeup call at waking me up - I was expecting them at 8:30) and went right to work.

Three hours later, the room in which I'm typing this is the only room they have yet to start packing, and it's nearly empty anyway. Things are going well - they expect to be out of here between noon and 1. And then, Shelly's mom stops by to collect her stuff, and my apartment is officially packed.

Except for the part where I still have a big pile of stuff at my parents' house. But that's primarily in a set of boxes and bins that I can just haul over here tomorrow, ahead of the truck-loading on Thursday. And then Friday, I fly to Seattle.

Whee.

I got two hours of sleep last night, but adrenaline and caffeine have me running on... well, not on all cylinders, but I'd say four out of six is pretty damn good for how much sleep I got.

...I was planning on napping once they left, but the bed's not usable at this point. So it goes.

In other news, I think I've figured out how to get Friday's Scatterplot done in a timely manner. I already have the necessary software loaded onto my laptop, so it's just a matter of using the scanner at home...
