I've gotten this one in two forms - I'm going for
Six songs I've been digging lately, in no particular order:
1. Moxy Fruvous - Gulf War Song
2. D.C. Simpson - If I Can't Get To London
3. Tom Smith - Rocket Ride
4. Crash Test Dummies - God Shuffled His Feet
5. Billy Joel - Scenes from an Italian Restaurant
6. The Police - Synchronicity
I'm also omitting tagging, because I sometimes have trouble keeping straight who does memes and who hates them. So, carry it on if you like.
01. TOTAL NUMBER OF FILMS I OWN ON DVD/VHS...
Since a lot of it is series-based instead of film-based, I'm just going to count the number of actual DVDs I own, not counting second-disk special features or two-disc feature films. So:
The total (as per my rules) is 52, including 33 anime and 19 non-anime. I also have a few borrowed DVDs and some I need to ship to Germany, but I didn't count those cause, you know, they aren't mine.
02. THE LAST FILM I BOUGHT...
The Evangelion box set, used! I'll probably be picking up the first season of Arrested Development soon, too.
03. THE LAST FILM I WATCHED...
Over the weekend, part of the first season of Arrested Development, at a friend's place. Also watched Dodgeball and Seven (or Se7en, whatever), both for the first time, this weekend. (Dodgeball was with my friend, but Seven was all alone at night after everyone had gone to bed. That was fun.)
04. FIVE FILMS THAT I WATCH OFTEN...
Hrm. I'll rewatch a series whenever I'm showing it to someone. 'Swhy I keep them around, really, and because I like having nice things. Likewise with the movies - a few that I watch regularly are Pirates of the Caribbean, the two X-Men movies, both volumes of Kill Bill, and I guess that makes five. I'd watch the LotR movies more often if they weren't four to four and a half hours each - that's really special-occasion material.
I once again respectfully decline to tag someone else. Or rather: introducing Self-TaggingTM! Here's how it works!
- If you feel like doing the meme, consider yourself tagged, and carry it out.
I am a bastion of innovation.
So there. Don't owe people memes anymore! Yay.
Also, this weekend kicked ass, but more on that later.
