I am now in Seattle.
The flight was... uneventful, except for some kind person finding my wallet minutes after I'd dropped it in the terminal at O'Hare (during my layover) - before I realized it was gone, and as I was boarding the plane - and returning it to the desk at the gate, so the attendants could pull me out of the line and return my wallet. Thank you, honest stranger.
Napped a bit on the flight from Chicago to Seattle. No idea how long, as my (off-turned) cell phone was my only timepiece, and being on an airplane is one of those things, like being in a casino (though less intentionally), that causes one to lose all perception of time.
I did read a large amount of The Once And Future King - finished book two and all of book three and most of book four. Never read so much of that in one sitting - it's a lot easier when I'm not tired, though. Excellent book... I've come to love White's writing style. It's reminiscient of hearing a story from an old man who's collected so very much knowledge over the course of his life that he can't help but go on tangents every once in a while. I was particularly amused by his comparison of jousting to cricket - with all the statistics tracking and such. Hee hee.
Currently eating an interesting coney dog at an internet-enabled hot dog shop. Whole wheat bun, hot dog, chili that contains lots of whole beans, corn, and green onions... all served with an After Eight dinner mint. I'm not sure what to think. Noticed an awesome arcade on Pike St. on my way over, and I might stop for some DDR on the way home.
Anyway, I'm going to see if I can login to mail and such - my computer capabilities are limited at the moment, so that means an end to this post. I shall post more soon...
