A little over a year ago, I did a meme in which people write six-word short stories. (There was also one to sum up existing works in six words.)

Well, Wired's picked up on the idea (which was apparently popularized by Hemingway's six-word story which he calls one of his best works - details at the article). So I'm reviving it as an LJ meme, now that I know a lot more writer-types.

Post either here in comments, or in your own journal, your own six-word short story...

"Even her dying silence was musical."

In the spirit of the Wired contest, here is a science fiction one.

"You lose, human. Surrender your mind."

So Ferrett's wife did this too and I came up with:

"We ate one apple, you asshole."

It quickly filled with pinko commies.

Think you know? You've no clue.

Pink merchandise and marketing saved her.

Some of the ones on the Wired site are downright genius though! My favourite: Kirby had never eaten toes before.

Vitamins notwithstanding, she couldn't tell him.

Rebellion has it's costs, dear child.

Never again. Well. Maybe one more.

My favorite at Wired was Alan Moore's. Mine's fanfiction, of course (go figure):

Everything was fine, till Mordred arrived.
